Meet our counselor, Mary.
Mary became a counselor because she feels driven to help people who are dealing with difficult situations. She wants to make her clients’ lives better. She loves to see people heal and see the impact they make on their families, friends, and communities when they are happier and healthier.
Mary has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has worked with clients dealing with depression and anxiety. She is currently an LPC Associate working under the supervision of Lane Johnson, LPC-Supervisor. Additionally, she has a Master’s Degree in education and has served 28 years in Texas public education.
Mary knows it can feel like a big step to call a counselor, but she will make it easy. You will spend 15 minutes on the phone, and she let you know how or if she can help. If she is not the right person, she will do her best to get you to the right person.
